The Great-Horned Owl pair was hooting it up across the street tonight.  I also heard this other vocalization besides hooting that I’ll have to look up.  I am not familiar with the other calls of this species; anyone out there have any experience?

Saw my year’s first Common Grackle today on my tray feeder.

Yesterday it was sixty degrees and i was driving with my car windows open.  Today it is thirty degrees and is blowing snow after several hours of rain.  My car windows are still down.
