In general, activity at the bird feeders today has picked up due to the light snow falling throughout the area. While overall numbers for several species are at a winter-time high today, (Dark-eyed Juncos, Blue Jays, Brown-headed Cowbirds etc.) most notable is the numbers of Purple Finches attending the seed.
