I want to give my thanks to Will Raup and Corey Finger for their invitation to this year’s Hudson Mohawk Century Run in upstate NY. It has been several years now since I have done any big days on the east coast due to doing bird research in CA, so it felt great to be back. Unfortunately, with my trip to NJ just days before the Century Run, and my work schedule after, I was unable to do a write up. However, Corey did a fine job of recounting the events of the day on his birding blog, Lovely Dark and Deep. I highly recommend checking out the site.
