A Valentine for the Earth
With St. Valentine’s Day coming up, I suggest that we all take a look at maybe getting a sweet for the biggest sweetie we know, Mother Earth. It probably goes rather unnoticed in the large scheme of organic and all natural products, but on Valentine’s Day, the plants we choose to buy, and in particular flowers, have a large impact on the Earth.
Audubon has a great article on roses, and in particular their impact on the Earth from the way they are planted, raised, and farmed. Reading it may just make you want to give your love a rose that is just a little greener. Click [here] for the full article on organic alternatives.
