I know the feeling all too well of having feeders up and not having the time to really enjoy the birds that may be there. Today I had an adult Cooper's Hawk sitting in the Phragmites behind my house awaiting a snack...however no birds showed up and he soon departed. Hopefully I will get some redpolls and grosbeaks again soon. My year list has stagnated for the last few weeks seeing as I don't get out all that often.
