Cooperative Hunting in Red-tailed Hawks?

Today while birding, Ryan and I observed two Red-tailed Hawks perched nearly on top of each other on the edge of a small patch of woods bordering a field. Our first comments on the sighting was jokes of “Red-tails in Love” and the comparison to the Harris’s Hawks we observed in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas cooperatively hunting in small groups. However, the scene left us wondering…”Do Red-tailed Hawks ever hunt together in a cooperative manner?”.

Any info or experience regarding the answer to this question would be great to hear, so please share…
