Marist Red-tail
Greetings,
Just now while in the library at Marist College, Betsi and I observed an adult Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) being mobbed by several American Crows. Unfortunately, I did not bring any bins with me as there are many birds around on campus…however most have been identifiable by their calls (Dark-eyed Juncos, Black-capped Chickadees, etc.). It’s ok though, for if I had my bins I would probably get less studying done for my GRE.
Good Birding,
~Chad (01/18/2007)

Chad, Looking out the window with Betsi won’t help your GRE score. You really need to FOCUS! (your brain not your bins)
