For those of you who have been checking out our site for the past few weeks/months you certainly have noticed a few changes along the way. From the way the site looks, to how it navigates, etc. You also (hopefully) noticed an increase in content on the site with new additions of articles and interviews to go along with our many blog posts and photos. Unfortunately, you might have also noticed that some of the articles have been “upcoming” for some time now, and in particular things like the Baker’s Dozen series and the article on the North American Record.

It was to my dismay that I have yet to find a good block of time to work on these pieces, and now with the cross-country trip coming up they will have to wait for another few weeks. But here is the good news. Once I am back to NY I will have virtually double the time to work on the site for articles/content/layout seeing as I won’t be sharing computers with 6 other people and I’ll hopefully have a little more free time on my hands (understatement). So by mid-September to early-October look for some new life in the site with brand new articles from both me and Ryan (hopefully grad school gives him some time) as well as articles that are still on the drawing board now to be completed (in fact today I am hoping to take some stock photos for a possible future interview with bird artist  and friend, Keith Hansen!). We should also have some kick @$$ stuff from our trip too!
