To all the NY birders out there, a Townsend’s Solitaire was discovered today in Albany County, NY. For those wishing to read further into the discovery, identification, and discussion of this bird, click here. 

Hopefully the bird can be rediscovered and photographic evidence can be made. On top of that, let’s hope that any and all birders that search for this bird use sound ethics when looking for this great treat.
