Greetings,

This past Tuesday (May 2nd), Pearl Jam released their first studio album since 2002. Simply titled ‘Pearl Jam’, the album as expected is incredibly tight with great energy and is well worth the listen. Today I finally had a chance to break away from my world of birds at the field station to pick it up at Borders in San Rafael (yes I do have other interests besides birds; music is my 2nd ‘world’ if anyone really wants to know). I’ve listened to the album 3 times through already, and there is still time for one more before bed. To Ed, Jeff, Stone, Mike, and Matt…keep layin’ it down…

As great as it is to have new PJ in my life again, unfortunately, I think the tickets for their shows in SF this coming July are sold out. However, if anyone is interested in going to what will surely be a great time, let me know and perhaps we can try to find a pair of tickets.
