Greetings,

I suppose by now it has become obvious that it has been slow around here in the Chat Happens world. The last two weeks have shown the Hudson Valley (and Vermont) a bad time in the weather department, and my personal life has been rather busy between work and my band. However, the forecast is showing better weather on the horizon, and with recent reports of warblers, buntings, grosbeaks, and tanagers within 200 miles, things are looking to pick up fast. So stay tuned…

To start things off on a fresh foot, today there was a flock of 10 Tree Swallows over Oakdale Pond in Hudson, NY.
