Wow dude that is really something! That whole Golden-winged/Blue-winged Warbler Complex is something that I've had a large interest in for years, as both species are some of my favorite warblers. I have yet to see the dominant form "Brewster's" or the recessive form "Lawrence's" of a BWWA X GWWA crossing in the field. However, both have been reported within my county (Columbia) not far from my parent's house. Perhaps I will see one soon, but with never seeing a Golden-winged there, and only Blue-wings, I think my chances are slim. One side note though is the Rail Trail near Alander Mountain in southeast Columbia County produced an apparent Blue-winged Warbler singing a typical "type A" song ("bzee-bzz-bzz-bzz") for me 2 years ago. Great find man! And lets hear some of those posts! I'm sure people are bored from my west coast antics.
