Greetings,

With continuing reports of large numbers (hundreds) of White-winged Crossbills out of the western part of the state (NY), many of us are probably hoping for an incursion of these birds into our own respective areas. I have not checked out many reports from neighboring states, but I would expect some similar numbers perhaps from states such as VT, NH, and maybe even northern PA. Does anybody have any reports from these areas?

Lastly, as many of you may know from my lack of reports, I have not had lots of opportunities in the past months to get out and go birding. A lot of this is obviously due to my current work schedule; however with my work schedule on the change in the coming weeks, hopefully I will be able to get out more, and if anything, for the upcoming CBC. Time to find some crossbills.
